ABOUT US:

Rushlight Ventures began as a venture studio within its sister company, Cornerstone Research Group (CRG). CRG has been a successful government contractor “doing defense differently” for over 25 years. Rushlight Ventures was formed because it’s difficult for a company focused on delivering high-quality research, development, testing and evaluation services (RDT&E) and other large programs to also be successful at technology commercialization.

Once the venture studio was formed, it rapidly became apparent that CRG is not alone in facing these challenges. Transitioning from RDT&E to routine production/procurement, creating startups, and engaging with commercialization partners to monetize intellectual property requires a different set of experience and infrastructure. Rushlight Ventures bridges the gap — our team has decades of experience in new technology development and commercialization, aerospace and defense RDT&E, new company formation and financing, licensing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Today, RLV successfully bridges the gap between RDT&E and commercialization through its seasoned team.

Expanding Footprint

In 2023, RLV built out its staff and acquired new satellite office space at the Innovation Hub in the historical Dayton Arcade complex, affording flexibility to meet with clients, business partners, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders both in Dayton and in Miamisburg, Ohio.
